Ken Konkel, Local Software Developer Visits CS 115 and CS 372 (Expired)

Ken Konkel, a local software developer who works for iQmetrix, was a guest speaker in Dr. Samira Sadaoui's CS 115 on Friday, March 2, 2012.  In his CS 115 lecture, Mr. Konkel told the students about things he wishes he had done differently in his university education, including seeking out new programming experiences and asking questions in class.  He will be returning to campus on March 30, 2012 to visit Dr. Sadaoui's CS 372 class.  He is expected to talk about some development practices commonly used in the local software industry.  These visits are part of a department initiative to increase students' exposure to the profession of Computer Science.  iQmetrix is a Regina-based company that is the leading provider of retail management solutions for the North American wireless industry.  For more information, see
