Donna Lindskog, a long-time member and volunteer with the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS), will be a guest speaker in CS 280 on March 27 at 10:00 am in RIC 209. Ms. Lindskog will speak on Professionalism in Information Technology.  CS 280 is our class on "Risk and Reward in the Information Society," and one of its topics is "professionalism and ethics."  This visit is part of a department initiative led by Dr. Cory Butz to increase students' exposure to the profession of Computer Science. For more information on CIPS, please see

Interested members of the university community are invited to attend Ms. Lindskog's presentation.  We have at least 10 extra seats for guests.  If the room is getting full, guests are asked to remain standing until all CS 280 students have found their seats.
