Dr. Zilles and co-authors win Best Baper award at KI'2012 (Expired)

The Department of Computer Science is pleased to offer our congratulations to Dr. Sandra Zilles, a faculty member in our department, upon receiving the best paper award from the 35th German Conference on Artificial Intelligence (KI'2012). The paper was entitled ``PAC-Learning with General Class Noise Models,'' and it was written by Shahin Jabbari, Robert C. Holte, and Sandra Zilles.  Mr. Jabbari and Dr. Holte are from the University of Alberta; both have been regular visitors to our department over the past few years.

KI 2012 is the 35th edition of the German Conference on Artificial Intelligence, which traditionally brings together academic and industrial researchers from all areas of AI. It was held September 24-27, 2012 at Saarbrücken, Germany.  The call for papers invited the submission of significant, original, and previously unpublished research papers from all areas of AI, its fundamentals, its algorithms, its history, and its applications.  The conference papers and presentation are in English.  For more information on the conference, see:
