Alain Fournier Ph.D. Thesis Award

The Alain Fournier Ph.D. Thesis Award is given annually for the best doctoral dissertation completed at a Canadian university in the field of computer graphics.This year it will go to Tyson Brochu, an alumnus of our B.Sc. (Honours) program.  Besides taking many courses in our department, Tyson spent a summer working with Dr. Howard Hamilton, a faculty member in our department, funded by an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA).
