POSITION TITLE: CS 104 (Health Informatics) Lab Assistant and Marker
CLASSIFICATION: Teaching Assistant 2 (Monthly)
TERM OF POSTION: Winter 2014 Semester (January 1 - April 30, 2014)

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working under the supervision of the class instructor, this position will effectively deliver lab content to students for the CS 104 Health Informatics course. Eight one hour Lab sections are being offered per week. Labs times are Tuesday 10:00-10:50, 11:00 to 11:50; Wednesday from 13:00 to 13:50, 14:00 to 14:50; Thursday 8:00 to 8:50, 9:00-9:50 and Fridays 8:00 to 8:50, 9:00- 9:50 at the Kelsey campus in Saskatoon. In addition to the labs, TA's will be paid for 4 hours of prep time plus a 1 hour meeting per week. Please indicate which day or days you are available as the successful candidate must be available for these times. Position will also be responsible for assisting the course instructor to answer student emails, mark assignments, and enter grades.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have completed at least 4 courses in Computer Science or a related subject area. Preference will be given to currently registered Computer Science students at SIAST (Kelsey campus) or the University of Saskatchewan. Previous marking, tutoring, and/or instructional experience considered an asset.
