Hour of Code (Expired)

Learn how to talk to Angry Birds and Zombies (from Plants vs. Zombies) (and experience computer programming). No math, no experience necessary! This event is part of an international event that (so far) has almost 3 million participants in 148 countries. U of R students: drop by CL135 to take a break from exam preparation, learn something, have some fun, and chat with current CS students. If you've never experienced computer programming, this is a great introduction. Computer Science classes can be a great addition to whatever you are studying: they are an important foundation for everyone in today's world. Want to learn more about this? Visit http://hourofcode.com/. Please help to spread the word, and use our hashtags on twitter: #URcoding and #hourofcode

Are you a K-12 student, or the parent of one? Please share http://csedweek.org/school with your (kids') teachers and encourage them to participate.
