Dr. Sandra Zilles receives prize as a CACS/AIC Outstanding Young Computer Science Researcher for 2013 (Expired)

The Department of Computer Science is pleased to announce that Dr. Sandra Zilles, a faculty member in our department, has been awarded one of three CACS/AIC Outstanding Young Computer Science Researcher prizes for 2013. Congratulations, Dr. Zilles!

The prize includes a $1000.00 monetary reward and a trip to the awards ceremony for Dr. Zilles paid for by CACS/AIC. The awards ceremony will be during the banquet that is held in conjunction with the annual Computer Science Chairs meeting, this year at Dalhousie University in Halifax. The banquet will be the evening of May 12, 2014.

The prizes are sponsored by the Canadian Association for Computer Science/Association informatique canadienne (the Canadian national computer science academic organisation) and recognize young computer science faculty members at Canadian universities within 10 years of their Ph.D. who have made highly significant contributions in their careers, particularly to research.
