CS Researchers Contribute to Nuclear Imaging Project (Expired)

Dr. Xue Dong Yang and Dr. Howard Hamilton, two faculty members in our department, will be part of the Saskatchewan Molecular Imaging Center. This $5.2M research effort will provide nuclear imaging of humans, animals, and plants, to improve health outcomes. Dr. Yang and Dr. Hamilton will contribute expertise in graphics and animation, respectively, to the project. The overall project is led by the University of Saskatchewan, with Dr. Zisis Papendreou of the Department of Physics coordinating the University of Regina contribution. There will be opportunities for current and future graduate students in our department to participate in the project.
