CS 201 - Introduction to Digital Systems

Description: Hardware paradigms, logic minimization, sequential and combinational circuits, register transfer notation. Numerical data representation, number bases, floating-point and two's-complement representation, representation of non-numeric data, records and arrays. Von Neumann architecture, control units, instruction sets, assembly language programming, addressing modes, subroutines, basic building blocks, computer components.
