   EBRSC is intended as a distribution list for abstracts of research
   in the rough set field.  

   Submissions to the Bulletin will be made electronically by sending
   email to the Internet address:

			roughset@cs.uregina.ca

   Comments and questions may also be sent to this address.

   Relevant submissions should concern research involving:
	1) the fundamentals of Rough Sets;
	2) applications of Rough Sets to other theoretical studies
	   (e.g. Machine Learning, Uncertainty Management, Knowledge
	   Discovery, Image Analysis, etc.);
	3) applications of Rough Sets in systems;
	4) related research in Uncertainty management.

   Other relevant submissions would include:
	1) conference announcements and Call For Papers;
	2) announcements about availability on the archive of
	   data/systems/results.

   am organising an invited session on "Applications of Rough Sets to
   Multi-Criteria Decision Making" within the International Conference
   on Methods and Applications of Multicriteria Decision Making, to be
   held in Mons (Belgium), May 14-16, 1997. 
 
   The plan of the session is the following:

   Technology): "Rough approximation of a preference relation by fuzzy
   dominance relations". 
 
   2. Jerzy Stefanowski (Poznan University of Technology), Alexis

   sets under incomplete information".
 
   3. Constantin Zopounidis (Technical University of Crete), Roman
   Slowinski(Poznan University of Technology): "Rough set approach to
