Site Licenses and Software Agreements
(Work in progress)

  • Sophos EPSC (antivirus) - The University of Regina has an agreement with Sophos to use this product for academic purposes. CS Faculty: If you need it installed on your PC, please send a request to  it.support@uregina.ca. It is also available for download from Information Services.

  • Mapedit - CS Department has an agreement to use Mapedit for academic purposes.

  • Microsoft Software Developer Network Academic Alliance (MSDNAA) - Microsoft has an agreement with the University to provide certain software to students enroled in Science classes. You can download this software from the CS Department's secure site.

  • Oracle - the University of Regina has an agreement with Oracle to use a specified set of their software for academic purposes.
    1. Solaris & Windows NT: Oracle Enterprise Edition
    2. Windows 95: Personal Oracle
    3. Solaris, WinNT & Win95: Oracle Designer; Oracle Developer; Procedure Builder; Oracle Reports; Programmer/2000; SQL*Plus
    4. WinNT & Win95: Oracle Discoverer - Administration Edition; Oracle Discoverer - User Edition; Change Mgt, Diagnostic & Tuning Pack

  • Rational Rose - 100 user license.

  • MATLAB - Floating research and educational licenses.

  • Maya - x fixed licenses.

  • Adobe CS4 Production Premium - 20 Educational licenses for Mac OS X

  • iOS Developer University Program - the CS Department's system administrator controls the University of Regina's licenses for this program. Details on the program here. If you are not enroled in a class that provides these licenses you may request them by emailing IT.Support@ureigna.ca.
